Careers Day 2023
On Thursday 15th June, Spring Common Academy invited some visitors to come into the school and talk about their career, what they wear, what equipment they might use and some of the skills they learned to help them be employed in their current role.
The Careers Day opportunities were offered to enhance pupils in upper Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and Year 10 with their learning opportunities and support their journey towards adulthood.
A huge thank you from our pupils to guest speaker Derren representing the RAF with an impressive uniform and wealth of facts to engage our classes, followed by further thanks to Police Person Amber for allowing our pupils the chance to sit in a real police car and to try on some equipment. Your talks inspired a wealth of questions from our pupils.
