In May 2024, Ofsted conducted an ungraded inspection of Spring Common Academy. The report was released in June 2024, and can be viewed here.

In March 2017, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission conducted a joint inspection of the local area to judge the effectiveness of the area in implementing the SEND reforms set out in the Children and Families Act 2014. The report's findings can be accessed by clicking here.
Spring Common Academy was rated as Outstanding in all categories by Ofsted (First in December 2012 and again in December 2018).
