Spring Common Academy is an area special school catering for pupils with SEN from ages 3-19 years in Huntingdon. Prestley Wood Academy is a new area special school for pupils with SEN from ages 3-19 years in Alconbury Weald. We are seeking Community Governors to add strength and breadth to the existing Governing Bodies of each school. 

This voluntary post is suitable for candidates with current or recent business/law experience. Key skills are the ability to challenge and support the leadership of the school in their reporting, strategy and decision-making. Experience of education is not necessary and training (including Safeguarding) will be given.
